Class Description

Sometimes an unusual subject can look quite stunning as a painting. In this class we are going to do just that by painting a bunch of random signs found on the beach.

What makes this class even more interesting is that you are going to use the reference photograph as inspiration only and create your own pole and your own unique signs.

So at the end of the day you will use the inspiration, and the techniques learned in the class, to create your own sign post. This will allow you to make as many variations of these as you can think of, and sell them.

During the class you will learn:

1) How to paint palm leaves
2) How to suggest the background so the viewer knows where the scene is, without having to paint all the details in the background
3) How to paint new signs
4) How to paint faded paint
5) How to paint decaying wood
6) How to paint chipped paint
7) How to paint a wood grain effect
8) and heaps more…
