Class Description
Many of the old masters as well as todays top artists use gisaille and glazes to create paintings that are rich in colour and full of depth.
In this live class replay Nolan will show you how to use the Grisaille technique to paint a detailed painting in monotone.
By the end of the class you will have completed the painting shown below.
During the class Nolan will paint in acrylics in order to speed up the drying process, but you are welcome to paint along as far possible with oil paints.
